Depression and anxiety are two disorders which can cause a severe illness to a person.
Depression is a mood disorder which can be described as feelings of loss, sadness, anger which can affect a person very badly.

SYMPTOMS OF DEPRESSION:


1.    PHYSICAL SYMPTOMS: These are the symptoms which can lead to changes in physical behavior.

1.1. Difficulty in concentration:

      People get a lot of difficulty in concentrating in one topic or any other activity due to depression. There is lack of concentration because depression distracts the individuals from doing things.


1.2. No sleep or difficulty in sleeping: 

      People suffering from depression develops a feeling of consciousness which results in lack of sleeping or becomes very difficult for the people to sleep.

1.3. No involvement in social life:

      Some individuals suffering from depression are very introvert people who do not involve themselves in social activities or life which can affect a human body very badly and can cause fear of social things.


1.4. Feeling of fear: 

      Due to depression, people develop a feeling of fear unnecessarily from anything like, darkness, knife, or any other object.

1.5. Decrease in the energy:

      Depression also leads in decreasing or minimizing the energy of the person because if the person will not get involved in social life or any other activity that will make the person lazy and thus decreasing energy of human body.

2.    EMOTIONAL SYMPTOMS: These are the symptoms which can affect a person mentally and emotionally.

2.1. Anger issues:

      Depression also cause various emotional symptoms which are not good for human body, like anger related issues, getting angry on very minute things and reacting very fast. These can be very bad for the human in physical as well as emotional way.

2.2. Suicide attempts:

      In various cases of depression, people try to attempt suicide as depression affects the brain in a very negative manner and thus people try to attempt suicide.

2.3. Loss of interest in studies and extra curricular activities: 

       Depression makes the person very dull and lazy which distracts the person from the studies and thus people generally end up losing interest in studies.

2.4. A feeling of helplessness:

      People suffering from depression generally have a feeling of helplessness which is why they make themselves alone and live in a different world.

      People develop a feeling of finding everything in the environment wrong or they tend to see the worst aspect of things and believe that the worst will happen.

Anxiety is a state of feeling nervous to an extreme point, or taking a vigorous stress without any reason.

SYMPTOMS OF ANXIETY:


1.    PHYSICAL SYMPTOMS:  These are the symptoms which can lead to changes in physical behavior.

1.1. Muscle tension:

       Anxiety can cause muscle tension which is a condition in which muscles of the body remain semi-contracted for an extended period. It can lead to back pain and thus not good for body.


1.2. Fatigue problem: 

      Fatigue is a situation of feeling overtired, having a very low energy while doing things and a strong desire to sleep every day.

1.3. Increase in heart rate: 

      The heart rate increases due to excessive stress and this can cause various heart related diseases like a severe heart attack.


1.4. Rapid breathing: 

      The person suffering from anxiety starts breathing very rapidly when extra burden is there. The breathing rate increases over the normal breathing rate.

1.5. Sweating: 

       Anxiety is caused due to excessive stress and when there is extra burden, sweating starts at a heavy rate making the person conscious.

2.    EMOTIONAL SYMPTOMS: These are the symptoms which can affect a person mentally and emotionally.

2.1. Panic attacks: 

      Sometimes, people suffering from anxiety get panic attacks in which the person feels very low and alone. In this situation people generally cry a lot and breathing also increases.

2.2. Irritation in any ways: 

      In some cases, people get irritated very easily with any small thing also. Irritation can be caused by the light or any other sounds.


2.3. Getting angry very easily:

      When a person is over burdened with stress or is in a situation of anxiety, then it is very obvious for the person to get angry on very little things also, which is not good for human body.

2.4.Feeling of worriedness: 

      People suffering from anxiety, always have a feeling of worry in their minds which make them very sensitive of various things like emotions.

2.5.Phobia of any activity, object:
